ROCKWOOD E.M.S. RESPOND TO TWO-VEHICLE ACCIDENT ON COMMERCE STREET
Around 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening, Rockwood first responders, police, and an ambulance were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident on Commerce Street, the side street entering the Walmart parking lot.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Tyler Point Way and Commerce Street during a rain shower.
One female passenger, identified as 58-year-old Miriam Works from Rockwood, complained of injuries after hitting her head on the mirror following the impact. The driver of the vehicle in which she was riding, 85-year-old Larry Works from Rockwood, was not injured, nor were the two juveniles in the car.
The second vehicle, a 2023 Toyota, was driven by 66-year-old Eddie Justice from Harriman, who was also uninjured. The police report provided no indications as to who may have been at fault.
