Sam Daniel Jones Sr, age 69, was born on August 13, 1956 to Howard and Margaret Jones in Nashville, TN. He passed peacefully at home, in Crossville, TN, on December 10, 2025. He was a roofer for many years, was a man that still lived in the 60’s, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents- Howard Rufus Jones & Margaret Josephine Jarrett Jones and his wife of 45 years, the love of his life- Peggy Jones. Sam is survived by his children- Sam “Danny” Daniel Jones Jr (Katherine) of Madison, TN and Teresa Dickens (Stanley) of Clarksville, TN; granddaughters- Samantha & Sara Dickens of Clarksville, Hannah Lamb of Waverly, and Tabitha & Erica Revlett of Madison; grandsons- Shane Dickens of Clarksville, Nate & Noah Jones of Madison, and Daniel & Jacob Lamb of Madison; as well as 5 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later time.
