MAN ARRESTED IN VAN BUREN COUNTY AFTER ALLEGEDLY STEALING MINI EXCAVATOR

From the Van Buren Sheriff’s Office:
Monday 12.15.25 shortly after 0900, the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a stolen 2022 CAT mini excavator. With great cooperation from the victim/owner and diligence from VBSO Chief Deputy Clendenon and Investigator Kemper, the stolen mini excavator was recovered today before 0900.
Brandon Todd Watson has been charged with Theft of Property valued at more than $10,000, but less than $60,000 which is a Class C Felony. He is scheduled to appear in Van Buren Court. As in all cases, individuals are innocent until proven guilty.
