CUMBERLAND SHERIFF DODGEBALL FUNDRAISER CANCELLED
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee announced today that its planned Dodgeball Tournament fundraiser has been cancelled. Originally scheduled for Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. (with the location to be determined based on team numbers), the event was intended as a fun, family-friendly competition pitting civilians against first responders in dodgeball games.
No specific reason for the cancellation was provided in the announcement, but was later confirmed by Director of Community Services and Criminal Investigation Gary Howard that the reason for the cancellation was due to weather.
