FAILED BURGLARY AT CROSSVILLE STORAGE BUSINESS RESULTS IN $2000 IN DAMAGE
On January 23, 2026, Officer Jacob Ogle of the Crossville Police Department responded to a report of vandalism at a storage business, where he met with the owner. Earlier that morning, management discovered that storage units H147 and H153 had sustained prying damage, though the perpetrator was unsuccessful in gaining entry. Surveillance footage reviewed by a property manager showed a male subject carrying a crowbar in the area for approximately 20 minutes before departing.
While there were no cameras positioned directly on the targeted units, the facility owner was requested to upload the available footage to Axon Evidence. According to a maintenance worker, the cost to repair the damaged units is estimated at $2,000.
Currently, there are no known suspects, and the investigation remains open.
