CREDIT CARD FRAUD REPORTED IN FAIRFIELD GLADE TOTALING $581.87

On January 25, 2026, at approximately 1:30 PM, Officer Michael Murphy of the Fairfield Glade Police Department was dispatched to the department lobby to take a report of credit card fraud. The complainant described several unauthorized transactions on a Discover credit card.
These included a $281.87 charge from All Points Food Service on July 1, 2025, which was not recognized or authorized, as the individual had never conducted business with that company. On September 7, 2025, two additional charges appeared from HomeDepot.com—one for $100 and one for $200. The total amount of the fraudulent charges was $581.87.
The complainant stated that the physical credit card had never been lost or out of possession, and the person was uncertain how the card information had been obtained or compromised.
