Our thoughts and prayers are with the French family tonight. Long time RCSO Detective and School Resource Officer Jon French passed away this afternoon. Jon served with the RCSO under Sheriff Haggard and Sheriff Stockton, and was instrumental in the development of several CID members, as a colleague and a friend.

A dedicated professional, Jon served this community with distinction and honor and we will always remember him. His son Alex serves with the Kingston Police Department, and continues his father’s legacy of service.
