WARM RAIN TO WINTER CHILL IN FIVE DAYS

A mild, rainy Thursday gives way to sunshine, then a sharp cooldown with much colder temperatures by Sunday and Monday.

Thursday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 70. South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Thursday Night: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 4am, then a chance of showers between 4am and 5am. Low around 52. South southwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
