MAN ARRESTED IN MONTEREY ON SEX OFFENDER REGISTRATION AND PROBATION VIOLATION
On Friday, February 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., officers from the Monterey Police Department, assisted by a Tennessee Department of Corrections Fugitive Task Force Officer, arrested Danny Ray Johnson.
Upon the officers’ arrival at the scene, Johnson attempted to flee but was quickly and easily taken into custody. He was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants, including charges for failure to register as a sex offender, failure to pay in juvenile court, and violation of probation.
Following his arrest, Johnson was transported to the Putnam County Jail, where he was booked in and is currently being held without bond.
