40 GRAMS OF FENTANYL, SCALES, AND MORE SEIZED IN SWEETWATER DRUG BUST
On February 23, 2026, agents from the Tenth Judicial District Drug Task Force conducted a probation search at a residence in Sweetwater as part of an ongoing investigation into fentanyl trafficking within the district. The search resulted in the seizure of approximately 40 grams of fentanyl—estimated to have a street value of $8,000—along with a loaded firearm, digital scales, and cut baggies commonly used for distributing illegal narcotics.
One individual was taken into custody without incident, and the investigation continues. This operation highlights the effective collaboration among multiple law enforcement agencies, which enables better disruption of dangerous drug trafficking networks and helps safeguard communities throughout the Tenth Judicial District.
