DETAILS ON LAST NIGHT’S FATAL CRASH ON HIGHWAY 127 NORTH
According to a preliminary report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, on March 4, 2026, at approximately 4:44 p.m., a fatal two-vehicle crash occurred on Highway 127 North in Cumberland County, Tennessee, near Millers Ridge.
A 77-year-old driver, Stephanie Richmond from Tennessee, was operating a 2015 Nissan Versa traveling northbound. She was wearing a seat belt but sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
Her vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a southbound 2008 Ford F-150 driven by 57-year-old Eric Laub from Tennessee, who was also wearing a seat belt and sustained possible injuries. A passenger in the Ford F-150, 59-year-old Samantha Laub from Tennessee, was injured and faced no charges.
Charges against Eric Laub remain pending.
Following the impact, both vehicles came to rest against each other.
No additional vehicles or passengers were involved.
