CROSSVILLE WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER HIT AND RUN CRASH
Crossville police and medics recently responded to a two-vehicle crash at the 1,000 block of North Main Street.
According to the accident report released yesterday afternoon, officers responded to Burger King for a hit-and-run crash.
Police say a 2008 Jeep driven by 46-year-old Christa Lynn Marshall of Crossville rear-ended a vehicle operated by 38-year-old Rachel Erin Napier of Crossville. Napier was able to follow the Jeep long enough to get the license plate and report it to law enforcement.
Officers later located the suspect’s Jeep in the Food City parking lot on West Avenue. Law enforcement then found Marshall at a home on Grapevine Road. She was taken into custody and transported to jail, where she was served warrants for driving on a revoked license and leaving the scene of an accident.
