A Rockwood Civil Service Board meeting scheduled for tomorrow (March 24, 2026) to hear an appeal from a former police officer has been canceled.

According to Rockwood City Administrator Becky Ruppe, City Attorney Greg Leffew advised that former police officer Charles Haubrich’s attorney has requested a continuance, prompting the cancellation of the scheduled meeting.

Haubrich is appealing his termination from the Rockwood Police Department, which occurred in November 2025.

No new hearing date was initially announced.
