Federal court officials say two from Morgan County were sentenced on a sex crime charge.

Court documents state 23-year-old Keirsten Amanda Grace Hooper and 20-year-old Darrison Randall Hood entered pleas of guilty to sexual exploitation of a child.

The charges stem from an incident at Hood’s home in Wartburg in February 2025. Law enforcement looked into the crime after a Snapchat video was seen showing Hood and Hooper sexually assaulting a teenage victim.

Both are scheduled to appear in federal court in Knoxville on August 21, 2026, for sentencing. Prosecutors say they face 15 to 30 years in prison.

Both will remain in custody.
