Crossville police and medics responded Tuesday to the corner of Lantana Road and Dunbar Road for a vehicle accident.

The crash report released this morning states a 2003 Ford driven by 54-year-old David Julius Smouthers of Crossville was stopped at the red light, and a 2021 Chevy Silverado operated by 20-year-old Scottie Lee Noe of Harriman was stopped behind him. Police say a 2016 Honda driven by 43-year-old Ronald Eugene Stiner of Crossville approached the Chevy, was distracted, and rear-ended the truck. The impact sent the Chevy into the rear of the Ford.

All three drivers were not hurt.

A passenger in the truck, 54-year-old Scottie Lee Noe, was taken by ambulance to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
