CREWS RESPOND TO FIRE AT CUMBERLAND COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSION BUILDING
Firefighters in Cumberland County responded last night to a structure blaze at the Cumberland County Election Commission office on Northside Drive in Crossville.
The initial call about the fire came in just after 9 p.m.
Numerous firefighters from the city and county responded to the scene to help put out the blaze on the eastern side of the building, mainly used for storage.
The election main office is on the west side of the large structure.
A few firefighters and police remained on the scene as of 5 a.m. this morning to watch for rekindling of the fire and provide security for the site.
No injuries were initially reported.
A cause of the blaze is under investigation.
