ACCORDING TO A REPORT BY THE CROSSVILLE POLICE, On March 29, 2026, at approximately 10:47 PM, Crossville Police responded to a reported assault at 209 Peavine Road. The victim had multiple lacerations on his left arm and stated that Lura Estevez had attacked him inside her vehicle around 10:20 PM while they were traveling to Short Road. In plain view inside the vehicle, they observed the broken umbrella matching the victim’s description, along with a small apparent blood stain on the rear seat. With the property owner’s permission, officers searched the residence, but Estevez was not found. Warrants have been signed for her arrest on a charge of aggravated assault. Photos of the umbrella and blood stain were collected as evidence.

The victim declined hospital transport but allowed EMS to bandage his arm.
