CROSSVILLE STOCKYARD RECEIVES FUNDING FOR LIVESTOCK MARKET IMPROVEMENTS
The Tennessee Department of Agriculture has awarded grants through the Agricultural Enterprise Fund (AEF) Livestock Market Improvement Initiative to support upgrades to livestock market infrastructure across the state.
In Cumberland County, the Crossville Stockyard was selected as a recipient of the funding.
This program funds improvements such as better handling facilities, pens, scales, loading areas, roofing, and technology systems to enhance safety, animal welfare, and operational efficiency at Tennessee’s livestock markets.
