FENTRESS DEPUTIES PARTNER WITH AVALON CENTER FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS MONTH
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and the Fentress County Sheriff’s Office is proud to partner with the Avalon Center Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program to support survivors of sexual assault. This month, the Sheriff’s Office is joining the Avalon Center in the “Paint the Town Teal” campaign, which aims to raise awareness and show a strong community commitment to ending sexual violence.
Sheriff Hunter Fowler and Detective Atchley were recently presented with Certificates of Community Partnership from the Avalon Center in recognition of their close collaboration with survivors. Both have worked diligently to guide victims through challenging situations with compassion, professionalism, and care, making them valued partners in the healing process.
The Fentress County Sheriff’s Office remains dedicated to standing with survivors, increasing awareness about sexual assault, and collaborating with community partners to create a safer environment for everyone.
