OVER 400,000 FORD VEHICLES RECALLED BECAUSE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARMS CAN BREAK
Ford Motor Co. is recalling a total of 422,613 vehicles because the windshield wiper arms can break, which may reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. The recall affects 2021-2023 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator models, as well as 2022-2023 F-Series Super Duty trucks, including the F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, and F-600 SD.
Owners will begin receiving notification letters by mail starting April 13. Once a final remedy is determined, a second round of letters will be sent with repair instructions. Dealerships will inspect and replace the wiper arms free of charge.
Affected Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) can be checked on the NHTSA.gov website as of April 1, 2026. For more information, owners can contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332 and reference recall number 26S24.
