DETAILS ON WEDNESDAY’S THREE-VEHICLE CRASH ON WEST AVENUE IN CROSSVILLE
The following information comes from a preliminary report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol:
On April 8, 2026, at 996 West Avenue in Cumberland County, a three-vehicle crash occurred involving a 2020 Subaru Forester, a 2011 Ford F-150, and a 2024 Kenworth dump truck.
The 91-year-old driver of the Subaru Forester, Virginia Herbert from Tennessee, was wearing her seatbelt and sustained injuries (no charges). She was turning right from eastbound West Avenue onto Miller Avenue when her vehicle crossed into the opposing lane and struck the Ford F-150 head-on.
The 38-year-old driver of the Ford F-150, Kristina Turner from Tennessee, was stopped at a red light in lane 1, wearing her seatbelt, and was also injured (no charges). The impact pushed the F-150 backward into the Kenworth dump truck, which was stopped at the red light in lane 2.
The 37-year-old driver of the dump truck, Anthony Blevins from Tennessee, was wearing his seatbelt, sustained no injuries, and faced no charges. Both the Subaru and F-150 came to rest in lane 1, while the dump truck remained in its original position in lane 2.
No passengers were reported in any of the vehicles.
