CAT TRAP FEVER OF TENNESSEE REACHES 100 CATS SPAYED AND NEUTERED

Cat Trap Fever of Tennessee, founded by Jennifer Hall in Cumberland County, has reached a significant milestone in 2026 by spaying and neutering 100 community cats through its Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. What began as a small, grassroots volunteer effort has grown into a meaningful movement dedicated to humane population management.

By trapping, sterilizing, vaccinating, and returning cats to their familiar outdoor homes, the group prevents future litters, reduces suffering, and helps ease the strain on local shelters and rescues.

The organization, which set an ambitious goal of 200 cats for the year, is now halfway to its target and is gaining momentum through strong community support. Volunteers emphasize that each cat helped represents far more than a number—it means prevented hardship and improved welfare for the broader feline population.

Driven by compassion, Cat Trap Fever continues to show how a dedicated group of people can create lasting positive change, one cat at a time. For more information, visit https://www.cattrapfeveroftn.org/.
