James Douglas Davidson, 55
Mr. James Douglas Davidson of Albany, Kentucky passed away at his residence in Clinton County, on Sunday, May 10, 2026, having attained the age of 55 years, 7 months, and 22 days. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on September 18, 1970, the son of Arnold Gene & Betty Ruth (Beaty) Davidson. James was of the Christian faith, attended Smith Chapel, and worked as diesel mechanic. He was known as a hard worker who always stayed busy. In his spare time, he enjoyed old cars, T buckets, motorcycles, and especially Harley-Davidsons. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Amos & Roxie Beaty, and paternal grandparents, Bedford & Nancy Davidson.
He is survived by his mother, Betty (Beaty) Davidson; sister, Brenda (& Michael) Arms; nieces and nephews, Mylia (&Phillip) Ford, Trevor (& Lora) Davidson, Brandon Arms, and Amber Arms; great-niece and nephew, Summer Ford and Audie Ray Ford; his dog, Diesel; along with many other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. CST in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. James Smith and Bro. Ronnie Pitcock officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 beginning at 4:00 p.m., and again on Thursday morning, beginning at 6:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Irwin Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
