ARREST MADE IN THREAT OF SCHOOL VIOLENCE INVESTIGATION IN LOUDON COUNTY
The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office has arrested David Parks in connection with social media threats of violence directed at Eaton Elementary School. Following a swift investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division, working with patrol, school resource officers, and partner agencies, Parks was taken into custody and charged with Threats of Mass Violence on School Property.
Sheriff Jimmy Davis emphasized that all such threats are taken extremely seriously and will be thoroughly and immediately investigated, stating that the safety of students, faculty, and the community remains the office’s top priority.
Authorities thanked the Tennessee Department of Homeland Security, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, the Loudon County School District, and the public for their assistance, and continue to urge anyone who observes suspicious or threatening behavior to report it promptly.
