Gerald Russell Howell, Jr., 74, was born on January 13, 1952 to Gerald and Charlotte Howell in Waterford Township, MI and passed away on May 17, 2026 in Monterey, TN. Gerald loved Michigan sports and watched them often. He also enjoyed building model cars and ships. But what he enjoyed most was spending time with his family.

Gerald is survived by his children, Mary Jo (Donald) LaBarge, Melissa (Dale) Conner, Arianna Thomas, and Jacob Thomas; grandchildren, Julia Sullivan, Renee’ (Ty) Randolph, Carlene (Chris) Gregory, Halie Howell, Autumn Conner, Dale Conner Jr, and Zachary Silverwood; 6 great grandchildren; and nieces, Kelly Miles and Laura Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Russell Howell, Sr. and Charlotte (Stormer) Howell; brother, John Monjeau; aunt & uncle, Merta Ketchum and Frank Ketchum; and niece, Shawn Miles.
