Roane County Schools has appointed Patrick Miller as the new principal of Oliver Springs Middle School. With 19 years of experience in education and four years in administration, Miller has served as an athletic administrator in Tennessee since 2017. Most recently, he held the roles of Assistant Administrator and Athletic Director at South-Doyle Middle School from 2022 to 2026.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Austin Peay State University, as well as an Education Specialist degree in Principalship from Arkansas State University.

In his statement, Miller expressed honor at the opportunity to lead Oliver Springs Middle School and shared his commitment to building strong relationships with students, families, faculty, and staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Miller and his wife, Yachtney, reside in Knoxville with their two sons, Patrick and Connor.
