On May 25, 2026, at approximately 12:20 p.m., a minor collision occurred on Interstate 40 westbound near mile marker 315.

Vehicle 1, a 2020 Toyota Camry driven by 25-year-old Brooke Buck of Tennessee, was traveling in the right lane. Vehicle 2, a 2019 Nissan Sentra driven by Michell Vesh of Indiana, was in the left lane and actively attempting to pass Vehicle 1.

As Vehicle 1 began changing lanes from the right lane into the left lane, the far-left rear portion of the Camry struck the right front corner of the Sentra.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts, and neither sustained any injuries.

For safety reasons, both vehicles were driven a short distance to Exit 311, where the incident report was completed on scene.
