Evelia Ruth Shoopman age 93 of Oliver Springs, TN passed away on Wednesday June 3, 2026 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church for 50 years. Evelia loved to garden and bake.

Evelia is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Lowell Shoopman.

She is survived by niece Pamela McCarty, great niece Amy Lee, and great nephew Todd McCarty.

Per Evelia’s wishes cremation was chosen with no services planned.
