William Edgar Lee “Eddie” Watson, born April 24, 1953, passed away on June 6th, 2026, at his home after a short illness, surrounded by his family.

He was a life-long resident of the Coalfield community. He graduated from Coalfield High School in 1971. He retired from Acme Block/Sequatchie Concrete, as a driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Lyonia Clark Watson; grandparents, William Huse and Blanche Watson and Rev. Harry and Lettie Clark.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Noe Watson; son, Tim (Claire) Watson of Alyth Scotland; daughter, Misty Nacole (Derrick) Daugherty of Wartburg; son, Jacob Tyler (Christina) Watson of Coalfield; and step-son, Neil (Susan) Noe of Coalfield.

Grandchildren: Chloe Byrd, Aaron Watson, Madison Watson, Cameron Watson, Dylan Daugherty, Eli Daugherty, Elijah Watson, Cameron Osborne, and Zachary Noe.

Great-grandchildren: Emersyn Byrd, Evelyn Daugherty, Owen Daugherty, and Daniel Byrd.

Siblings: Sharon (Ralph) Schubert, Denise (Chris) Duncan, and Scott (Cheryl) Watson; special aunt, Gladys Kelly and 5 nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 11th from 5-7 pm at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm with Bro. Dale Simmons officiating. A graveside service will be held on Friday June 12th at 10 AM in the Coal Hill Baptist Church Cemetery 490 Coal Hill Road, Harriman, TN 37848.
