Army Veteran Richard Leon Seeber, age 58 of Harriman, Tennessee passed away at Park West Hospital on Monday, June 15, 2026. Richard was born October 10, 1967, to the late Leon and Janice Jones Seeber. Growing up in and living in the Frost Bottom community, Richard made many friends that he held dear to his heart. Richard enjoyed camping, dirt bikes, four-wheeling, polishing his collection of knives that he was proud to have. Richard also served in the United States Army and was proud to have done so. Most of all, Richard loved “tinkering” and taking things apart, re-building to make work again; something he said most people didn’t have the patience to do. He always done his best to be there for the people he was close to; he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Along with his parents Leon and Janice, Richard is preceded in death by his grandparents Lee and Martha K. Kennedy Seeber and Audrey and Willie O. Hamlin Jones. A daughter Haley Marie Seeber, a sister Joy Pate along with aunts and uncles. He is survived by his daughter Kasie Seeber and girlfriend Felicia Sharp, fiancé Lisa Phillips, brother Terry and wife Sarah Seeber, sister Amanda and husband Darly Harness, and a brother-in-law Kyle Pate. Nieces and nephews: Levi, Payton, and Jake. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on a later date. Interment will be at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, date is to be determined. Please check back for updates.
