THP NOMINATES NEW CHEVY TAHOE IN NATIONAL ‘BEST LOOKING CRUISER’ CONTEST

The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is calling on Tennesseans to help them capture the crown in the American Association of State Troopers (AAST) 13th Annual Best Looking Cruiser Contest.

This year, Tennessee’s official entry showcases a brand-new Chevy Tahoe positioned against the scenic backdrop of Bald River Falls, located in the Cherokee National Forest in Monroe County.

The annual competition pits highway patrol and state police agencies from across the country against one another for the ultimate bragging rights of having America’s best-looking police vehicle.

What’s at Stake?

  • The Calendar: The 13 states that secure the highest number of votes will be featured in the official AAST 2027 Trooper Cruisers Wall Calendar.

  • The Cover: The state that brings in the most votes overall will win the coveted cover spot.

  • The Cause: Proceeds from the calendar sales directly fund student scholarships through the AAST Foundation.
