Linda L. Davis, age 79, of Kingston, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, at Roane Medical Center. Born on February 12, 1947, Linda was a lifelong resident of Kingston and a beloved member of the community.

Linda was a graduate of Roane County High School and spent many years working in sewing factories throughout Roane County before beginning a long career with Chase Instruments, where she faithfully worked for over 20 years until her retirement. She was known as a dedicated worker and served as a shift leader during her career.

A woman of strong faith, Linda was a member of Victory Baptist Church, where she attended as long as her health allowed. Her faith was an important part of her life and provided her strength and comfort.

Linda found joy in life’s simple blessings. She loved flowers and gardening and was especially known as the queen of Christmas cactus, taking great pride in nurturing them. She also had a special love for roses. Linda adored her cats, was an avid reader, and never missed an opportunity to watch Hallmark movies. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and love for those around her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Eli Patrick and Nannie Mae Davis; sisters, Ellen Shore, Alice Atkinson, and Dorothy McClure; and brothers, Samuel Davis, Jerry Davis, Harold Davis, and Bobbie Davis.

She was dearly loved by many nieces and nephews and leaves behind cherished memories with all who knew her. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Ward of Oak Ridge.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Fraker Funeral Home in Kingston. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev . James Russell officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026, at Kingston Memorial Gardens.

Linda’s warmth, faith, and love will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
