CROSSVILLE MAN FACES DOCKET OF FELONY CHARGES FOLLOWING DOMESTIC INCIDENT AND HIGH-RISK PURSUIT
A local man is scheduled to appear in Cumberland County Circuit Court on July 14, 2026, following a series of severe criminal charges stemming from a violent domestic dispute and a subsequent multi-charge encounter with law enforcement.
According to court filings and criminal dockets, Juan Manuel Flores faces a lengthy list of Class C and other felony charges, including aggravated domestic assault, felony evading arrest, assault on a law enforcement officer, and grand theft.
Court affidavits detail that the initial incident took place on the evening of September 25, 2025, at an apartment complex on Charleston Lane in Crossville. Officers responding to a domestic disturbance call made contact with the victim, who reported that Flores physically assaulted her, pushed her out of a vehicle, and strangled her to the point where she was unable to breathe.
The report states Flores then forced the victim toward a nearby wooded area while continuing the assault, eventually fleeing the scene with her vehicle keys, purse, personal identification, financial cards, and a handgun valued at approximately $2,500.
Flores’s upcoming July 14 docket hearing before the Cumberland County Circuit Court addresses two primary cases detailing his subsequent actions and violations including charges of Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting Stop/Arrest, Evading Arrest with Risk of Death or Injury (Vehicle Involved), Felony Reckless Endangerment, Theft of Property ($10,000–$60,000), and Violation of a Protective Order.
A seperate case adds charges for Violation of a No-Contact Order.
Flores, represented by defense attorney Donna R. Miller, is currently scheduled for a “Report with Attorney” hearing. Total bond across the proceedings has been set at $140,000.
