CUMBERLAND COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ANNOUNCES KEY PROMOTIONS AND NEW SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERS
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office has announced a wave of personnel promotions and new assignments within its leadership and school safety divisions.
Taking on new supervisory responsibilities are Thomas Henderson, who has been promoted to Sergeant of Juvenile Services, and Dakota Rucker, who now serves as Corporal of Juvenile Services. In these expanded roles, Sgt. Henderson and Cpl. Rucker will oversee three vital divisions:

The School Resource Officer (SRO) Unit

The Juvenile Services Unit

The Court Security Unit
Additionally, the department is bolstering its presence in local schools with two new SRO assignments:

Deputy Breanna Freeman joins the SRO Unit and will be assigned to Pleasant Hill Elementary School.

Deputy Logan Janow joins the SRO Unit and will be stationed at South Cumberland Elementary School.
