Daniel Reyes, 47
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, on July 15, 2026, at the age of 47.
To know Daniel was to know laughter. He had an unforgettable smile, a contagious laugh, and a gift for making every room brighter simply by walking into it. He never met a stranger and had a way of encouraging others, reminding them to keep going, believe in themselves, and find joy even on the hardest days.
Daniel had a deep love for riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The open road brought him peace, freedom, and happiness, and some of his favorite memories were made with the wind at his back and the people he loved close to his heart.
Above all else, Daniel was a devoted husband and an incredible father. His family was his greatest pride and his deepest joy. He loved fiercely, protected those he cared about, and created countless memories filled with laughter, adventure, and unconditional love. His children will always remember a dad who made them laugh, cheered them on, and loved them beyond measure.
He was known for his playful personality and quick wit. His jokes—sometimes a little inappropriate and often hilariously unexpected—kept everyone laughing. He never took life too seriously and believed that laughter was one of life’s greatest gifts. His silly conversations, mischievous sense of humor, and constant smile will forever be part of the memories shared by those who loved him.
Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made will last a lifetime. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, laughter, and strength that will continue to inspire everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Jodi Whitlow Reyes; his cherished children, Tucker Reyes and Tanner Reyes; his father, Miguel Reyes; his mother, Beate Shriver; his siblings, Michael Reyes & family and Erich Reyes & family; sisters-in-law, Jeri Chauta & family and Janice Williams & family; as well as many other family members and dear friends who will miss him beyond words.
A celebration of Daniel’s life will be held on July 25th at 1pm-5pm CST at Casa Reyes, the place he found the most peace when not on his bike. Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring a remarkable man whose love, laughter, and spirit will ride on in our hearts forever.
“Some people leave footprints on our hearts. Daniel left tire tracks, laughter, and a love that will never fade.”
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever riding free.
