Cora Faye Champlin, 66, passed away Wednesday, August 19th, 2026, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born January 4th, 1960, in Four Mile, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Myrtle Davenport Champlin and Herbert Champlin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Gracie Ladd; her sister, Lynn Bernice Duncan Johnson; and her brothers, Herbert Champlin Jr., Howard Duncan, Robert Duncan, Curtis Duncan, Lonnie Bays, and Ronnie Bays.

She is survived by her sister, Peggy Champlin; her daughters, Jolean Bramblett and husband Leo, Melody Hamilton, and Julie Huffman; her grandsons, Tristan Smith, Drake Foust and wife Ali, Seth Hamilton, and Dylan Bramblett; her granddaughters, Kitana Smith, Jade Vassilev and her husband Nik, Deena Ladd, Cora Rae Hamilton, and Tori Bramblett; her great-grandbabies, Curtis Ray, Ezmay Brown, and Kori Lee Brown; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Faye was a Christian. She loved her family, spending time with them, and her daily talks with her sister, Peggy. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 28th at 5 p.m. for her Tennessee family, and on Sunday, August 30th at the Pinelawn Cemetery for her Kentucky family.
