LENOIR CITY SCHOOLS CLOSED TUESDAY AFTER FIRE DESTROYS MULTIPLE BUSES
A destructive early morning fire heavily damaged multiple school buses at the Lenoir City Schools transportation annex on Tuesday, September 1st, prompting the district to cancel classes for the day.
The Lenoir City Fire Department responded to the blaze at approximately 1:30 a.m. and brought the active fire under control within 20 minutes with assistance from mutual aid partners. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
