Funeral Services for Slayden Dean Raines, age 20 days, of Crawford, Tennessee, will be conducted on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 3:30 PM at the Vine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church.

Pastor Richie Farley will officiate with interment to follow in the George M. Phillips Cemetery.

Slayden was born on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Levi and Tiffani Vernon Raines.

He passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Knox Raines

paternal grandparents, Joanie and Scott Hargis

paternal great grandparents, Faye and Donnie Bowman

and a host of aunts and uncles

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dawn Vernon.

The family will receive friends at the Vine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 12:00 PM until time of services at 3:30 PM.
