TENNESSEE WILDLIFE RESOURCES AGENCY ANNOUNCES EARLY WATERFOWL QUOTA HUNT APPLICATION DATES
Hunters looking to participate in the upcoming season can soon submit their applications for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s (TWRA) early season Wildlife Management Area (WMA) waterfowl quota hunts.

Application Window: September 23 through October 13, 2026.

How to Apply: Submit online via Go Outdoors Tennessee, the TWRA mobile app, at regional offices, or through a TWRA license agent. (Mailed applications are not accepted).

Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Parties must consist of four to eight members, with each person submitting a single application allowing up to 48 unique, non-repeated hunt choices.

Permit Claim Deadline: Successfully drawn applicants must log in and claim their permits by October 26 at 11:59 PM CDT.

Leftover Drawings: Unclaimed permits will be reallocated during in-person drawings held on Monday, November 9, at 6:00 PM local time.
