On the morning of September 19, 2026, emergency services rushed to the Life Care Center in Wartburg following an 911 call reporting an emergency at approximately 9:08 a.m.
Multiple local law enforcement and emergency response agencies immediately converged on the facility. However, after thoroughly checking the premises, responders confirmed that the emergency call was a hoax.
