The City of Crossville Police Department welcomed its newest addition on Monday, September 21, 2026, as Bret Conners officially took his Oath of Office.

The swearing-in ceremony was administered by Crossville City Judge Tiffany Adams in the Crossville City Courtroom. Chief Brooks expressed enthusiasm over the hiring, noting that the department continues to attract top-tier candidates.

Officer Conners brings prior experience to the force and is beginning the department’s Field Training program immediately. He is also scheduled to attend transition training as soon as a class opening becomes available.
