Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster has officially proclaimed October 4–10, 2026, as Mental Health Awareness Week, alongside World Mental Health Day on October 10.

Partnering with the local non-profit C5 Christian Counseling Center, the initiative aims to educate the public, combat mental health stigmas, and encourage community support. Mayor Foster was joined during the official signing by C5 board members and licensed clinicians.
