Time is running out for Tennessee residents to ensure their voices are heard in this fall’s midterm elections. The final deadline to register to vote is Monday, October 5, 2026.

With Governor Bill Lee’s term ending, voters across the Volunteer State will head to the polls on Tuesday, November 3 to choose their next governor. The gubernatorial race features Republican Marsha Blackburn, Democrat Jerri Green, and multiple Independent candidates, alongside a slate of other critical federal, state, and local contests.

State election officials encourage residents who have recently moved or are not yet registered to act immediately before Monday’s cutoff.
