FATAL BLOUNT COUNTY CRASH CLAIMS LIFE OF 49-YEAR-OLD DRIVER
A 49-year-old Tennessee woman died Tuesday morning following a two-vehicle collision involving an SUV and a tractor-trailer in Blount County.
According to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Toni D. Densmore of Tennessee was driving a 2025 Subaru Outback shortly before 10:54 a.m. She attempted to make a left turn from Endsley Quarry Lane onto northbound US 321/W Lamar Alexander Parkway when her vehicle pulled into the path of a southbound tractor-trailer.
The tractor-trailer struck the Outback, sending both vehicles into the median. Densmore, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured.
State data indicates that this incident marks one of only two fatal crashes involving a large truck in Blount County this year. Overall, the county has recorded 16 fatal crashes and 102 serious injury crashes in 2026.
