A pedestrian was hit and killed by a train in Murfreesboro last night (Friday, June 16, 2017). Officers say it happened near the intersection of Scott and Dashiel Street. CSX said the train was carrying mixed freight from Hamlet, North Carolina to Evansville, Indiana. The name of the victim was not released.
