Cookeville Police say that a fatal motorcycle accident took place on Jackson Street Friday. Reportedly 56-year-old Francis Robertson was riding just west of Jackson Plaza when he traveled across all of the traffic lanes and struck a vehicle pulling out of a parking lot onto the street. Robertson died at the scene. The other driver was not injured. Blood samples were taken from each driver and the investigation is continuing.
