Two individuals have been indicted by a Rhea County grand jury on two separate rape incidents. According to the first indictment, 68-year-old Donald Ray Houston is facing four counts of rape of a child. The other indictment names 45-year-old Charles Shipman for aggravated rape of a woman. The victim was transported to Rhea Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Both Houston and Shipman were transported to the Rhea County jail and placed under bonds ranging from $75,000 to $100,000.
