CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Cleveland Police confirm that a homicide investigation is underway Monday morning.  The Cleveland Police Department is currently investigating a domestic related fatal shooting on Sunset Avenue NW.  CPD spokeswoman Sgt. Evie West confirms to NewsChannel 9 that a shooting happened at a home on Sunset Avenue.  West says that shooting later became a homicide investigation.  Police later identified the victim as 45-year-old James Michael Cheatham.  Police say Cheatham’s wife and an unidentified teenager were home at the time of the shooting.
