A pedestrian struck by a vehicle Thursday, March 15, at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Broad Street in Cookeville passed away yesterday. Officers say 65-year-old Ad E. Landers of Cookeville was walking southbound on North Washington Avenue crossing Broad Street when he was hit by a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by 27-year-old Joshua Phann of Cookeville. The accident remains under investigation.
