White County Sheriff’s Department arrested 31 people during a large-scale drug bust yesterday (Wednesday, May 9, 2018). Multiple Upper Cumberland agencies assisted in the arrests, including the Tennessee National Guard Counterdrug Taskforce and Tennessee Highway Patrol. The charges against the thirty-one include manufacture, sale and delivery of drugs and theft. A stolen .22 rifle was uncovered at an arrest site. Officers say the round-up continues and more arrests will be made.
